Hibachi Grill and Buffet

Just dined here couple days ago for 2nd time in past 3 months - well worth the drive for us from Clayton! The buffet offerings are freshly prepared, not overcooked (common buffet problem), with just the right amount of seasoning! The salmon alone was worth the visit both times - absolutely heavenly, cooked to perfection. That made the "adult" price of $9.55 a real bargain - would have happily paid more than that for the salmon! We don't eat sushi and didn't utilize the hibachi grill, so can't comment on them, but they appeared to be popular with other customers. Note: arrangement of MANY buffet tables and restaurant seating configuration, an attentive server plus high level of cleanliness are noteworthy features that added to our dining pleasure. Four thumbs way up from the two of us! Highly recommend you give this restaurant a try.

We were surprised to see how much they have to offer. My family and I had great meal there, will be back. Encourage everyone to try them out.

I can't vouch for the coupon experience that some reviewers have mentioned. That sounds like something that should be taken up with the better business bureau rather than hatefully spewed on a reviews site that's supposed to be about the food... Anyway, I think the restaurant has the most diverse range of buffet items I've ever seen, and it includes free sushi. I definitely think it's a bargain and the place is always packed, so there must be people out there who love it as much as I do! Go Hibachi, or move to Oakwood!

Barbara's Rating - Yelp: “The restaurant was attractive and the aromas enticing. We don't know how it tasted because we left without eating. We had purchased a gift certificate worth $25 for $50 worth of food a few days before. When we showed the certificate to the hostess, she told us that the restaurant was no longer honoring the certificates because it was not profitable. We asked to speak to the manager. Another person came and gave us the same story and said that we could discuss it with the manager at the front desk. We thought we had been speaking with the manager. The manager at the front desk did offer us a 15% discount and said that it was the best he would do. When I asked about any coupons, he offered nothing. At home, I had coupons for $2.00 off a lunch, $3.00 off a dinner $5.00 off a $25.00 bill. And he offered us 15%?? There was no apology or sign of regret of any sort. This restaurant needs to remember that service and courtesy makes even a poor meal taste better and the lack of it turns people away. We did make the most of the evening with wonderful food and great service at the China Cottage on Far Hills.
I had the same experience Barbara had. The EXACT same. Only all of the people were very VERY rude. I couldn't believe it. I even explained that my coupon was for $25, but I brought 5 people with me... so they would have MADE $35 MORE dollars. These people are idiots. I said – “We will never be back here and you will be getting bad reviews online” The manager said “Ha, that's fine with me” She said “this is the 2nd time this has happened today” - Like it was MY fault that someone else had purchased a meal from resaturant.com and was TRYING to support their business. You cannot run a business like that - they're new and they won't last long at all. Yall have a LOT to learn - good luck with the rest of your LOW LIFE because you're not going to make it anywhere in this world acting like that!
