The sports bar will have 13 flat-screen televisions. The menu will focus on specialty burgers (topped by a choice of more than a dozen cheeses, including smoked gouda and fontina), salads, wings, soups and sandwiches.

I used to drive across town to get one of the Sports Deck's hamburgers. Since the change to Monkeez, everytime I have eaten there, I order a burger medium and it comes out not just over done....but the last time was charred. I sent it back. I tired of spending money and made to feel like I'm putting someone out. If they don't want to serve food, they should take up the menus!

February 08, 2011 - Doesn't like it
I went to Monkeez and had the worst service and food I think I've ever had. I ordered a 7.00 fish sandwich, and I got what looked like a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish Sandwich. It was horrible! My husband ordered the wings, and he said they were good.
We sat at the bar, and it was clear the bartender had her favorites, and we weren't it. At an 18 seat bar, we had difficulty getting refills and any kind of attention at all. We heard her talking talking to other patrons about having worked at Bosco's before this, and we couldn't help but wonder if she plans on putting this place under too. We certainly won't be going back.

Not sure what gives with this place. Paint job is not only ugly but poorly done. We walked in and there were no seats at the bar (because staff was sitting there) :( Went to a table ordered a beer and a menu. Menu is very overpriced, and the high quality food they claim to be serving I found hard to want to order after the section for "Sweat (instead of sweet) and Savory Salad's". Headed to the bathroom (looked like they let a small child and a spray can have some fun), then I really wasn't gonna order anything off that menu. You know the saying, dirty bathroom equals a dirty kitchen.
