A unique holiday bazaar will offer alternative solutions to the challenge of finding gifts for friends and family members this year.
Instead of yet another pair of slippers for Aunt Irene, shoppers will have an opportunity to donate to their choice(s) of ten charitable organizations, from the local Food Bank to WaterAid in the name of Granddad, Uncle Harold, or Aunt Irene. The donor will receive a gift card and small ornament to share with each recipient. All donations will go directly to the charity of choice.
Table displays will describe the mission of each charity or agency, and light refreshments will be available throughout the day. Entertainment and music will provide diversion for shoppers as they ponder the possibilities for their gift lists.
The bazaar will take place on Saturday, November 6, from 10 am to 4 pm. in the auditorium at St. Leonard Chapel, 8100 Clyo Road, Centerville. Parking attendants will direct drivers to the appropriate entrance for bazaar shopping.
