My name is Shallon Coleman – Executive Director of Abigail’s Journey Inc. I am excited about announcing Abigail’s Journey Inc open house on April 19, 2010 located at 915 Salem Ave. Our purpose is to let our new community know about the service offered by the agency.
Abigail’s Journey Inc. is a non-profit faith base organization that is providing direct services that will help families rise out of poverty and become self-sufficient. The agency has advocacy trainings for individuals to learn advocacy techniques they can use, to advocate on their own behalf. This training is very important to empowering individuals to learn how to communicate what their needs are, in a way that they will not seek repeating assistance for those needs. By this it will help individuals to break down their dependence, on public assistance.
