Featuring artifacts and memorabilia from the original Ohio Shaker settlement known as Watervliet (1806-1900), this museum also has two of the original buildings from the Community. Other historic buildings onsite highlight different aspects of Dayton's early history. Visitors can also tour through the original barn where Col. Edward Deeds regularly met with William Chryst, Charles Kettering and other members of the famed "barn gang" - the group of men that invented the auto ignition system of the early 1900s.
