Join The Dayton Art Institute for a Superhero Summer at the museum through Sept. 23. The special exhibition You Are My Superhero explores the place of the superhero in American culture and its roots in the human psyche. The exhibition includes the work of Michigan-based artist Mark Newport, a tribute to Dayton’s own Mike Peters, animation art and memorabilia, original panels from the 1940s-1960s, and a display of classic comic books.
