Mt. Adams Pavilion

Originally built as a residence in the late 1800's by a local hotel porter, Bernard Keutz, Mt. Adams Pavilion housed both the Bernard and Grogan families for many decades. Local rumor has it that the spirits of some members of the Bernard and Grogan families still roam the hills and dark basement at the Pavilion. Not many years ago, a server is said to have met the acquaintance of one of the former occupants on the old wooden basement stairs. By the 1960's, the building was converted to retail use including the Belly Button Gift Shop and the Good Design Gift Shop. In the late 1970's, Jerry Stahl, longtime Mount Adams resident and businessman, converted the two residences into what is now famously known as the Pavilion. In January 2002, the current owners took over with a new vision. They updated the space including the addition of a fourth level patio and bar and new indoor club, the Penthouse. The main floor, otherwise known as the Champagne Room, boasts larger than life murals by Chicago artist, Jeff Zimmerman. The Penthouse, located on the second floor, is also adorned with murals and a hand laid mosaic tile bar top. With four patio levels, the best view in Cincinnati, full summer menu, live bands on the patio and DJ's spinning progressive house and hip-hop, the Mt. Adams Pavilion has something for everyone.
